This Halloween, Jen, Gina, and I decided to be the Three Blind Mice. Easy, simple and cute... or so we thought. We got the brilliant idea that it would be easier and cheaper to make our own tutu rather than buy one that barely covered us. Off to Joann Fabrics we went... wow, overwhelming! First off, we had NO idea what we were doing or how we were going to do it. BUT we found some fabric and a few 'pieces' that we thought would hold it all together and BOOM. We were on our way to making costumes.
When all is said and done we ended up with an OK outcome. It could have been worse considering every time the three of us try to re-create something from Pinterest it's an epic fail. In the grand scheme of things it definitely did not end up being cheaper. Either we have expensive fabric taste or we just bought too many unnecessary items.
Either way, it was fun to attempt.
